Guadalajara’s cathedral is the city’s most conspicuous landmark with distinctive neo-Gothic towers built after an earthquake toppled the originals in 1818. Begun in 1561 and consecrated in 1618, the building is almost as old as the city itself. Time your visit right and you’ll see light filter through stained-glass of the Last Supper above the altar and hear a working pipe organ rumble sweetly from the rafters.

This was the last Colonial construction as it was finished in 1810. With a neoclassical style was builded as a hospice for orphans. The walls and ceilings of the Assumption Chapel are painted with great murals by José Clemente Orozco. Actually it host and arts school and can be visited to admire this murals and its architectural.

Its construction stars on 1856 and its opening was on 1866, the very first show was Lucia di Lammermoor Opera, starred by Angela Peralta, known as the Mexican nightingale. It has a neoclassical style and it is considered as one of the most well preserved at Hispanoamerica. At his facade there is a tympanum dedicated to Apollo and the muses and the legend "May never came the rumor of discordy"

Also know as San Juan de Dios Market, is the largest under roof market in Latin America with 40,000 square meters. In here you will find handcrafts, food, grocieries, clothes, shoes, appliances and a lot more.

It is a building with a novohispano barroque style. Built between 1750 and 1790, It was National Palace in 1810 and 1858. Actualy it is a site museum and still host some government offices.
