Great location in downtown Allentown, close to shopping and dining. Within walking distance of the courthouse. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Had a noisy night due to the room backing up to the elevator but staff offered to compensate me and I accepted. Restaurant on-site with good food and service. Casual bar area for snacks and drinks. Meeting room facilities available on first floor. Lovely indoor pool area. On-site parking. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my stay. Would definitely consider staying here again when in the area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Typical - but for one thing
This Inn has no concierge lounge. Most Inns of this size do. Also, the room service quality of food varies by night. It might be cook-related.

Been coming to the Allentown HI for over a month now. I travel for work constantly..true road warrior. Among the spots I've been to, these folks have service down perfectly. Very responsive, and attentive. I have only praise for them.
Rooms are decent sized, and clean. Though dated compared to the other venues in the area, I recommend them because of their value, safety, and staff. Their restaurant is impressive, and features a diverse, welcoming menu for dinner. Salads are down right huge and can suit for a meal on their own.
Only thing I wish they had available was ability to store items from week to week in between visits, or had safe storage. Though completely -functional-, it would also be nice if the actual rooms had as much aesthetics as they have placed into the common areas.
Safety and cleanliness were never an issue at this place.
When you are constantly away from home, its good to see staff that are accommodating, mindful, diverse, and friendly. Management seems to embody the phrase "Semper ad excellentiam contende"!
You will be pleasantly surprised with your stay if doing a project for PPL or Talen, and don't follow the herd.
