As a platinum elite IHG member I stay in a lot of Holiday Inns. My initial impression? This Holiday Inn is just like all the others. Usually, I consider that a good thing. Traveler be warned, there are some hidden downsides to this property.
The "High" speed internet is slow enough that it affected my ability to work much less relax. I logged several speed tests the average was only .44 mb/sec. Which is slow enough that web pages take extra time to load, online meetings are impossible, and you can forget about streaming any media.
At least the television package has plenty of channels. The only problem is that the remote control lacked a "-" button so navigating directly to the channels listed on the channel guide cannot be accomplished (Example 103-103) which caused the large channel list to become a con instead of a pro. Without the "-" you have to flip through the channels one by one to find the channel you want.
Since, I'm on the road quite a bit I try to travel with my own entertainment. After connecting my Playstation to the television I learned that the hdmi ports are blocked which prevents the unit from displaying to the screen.
Ultimately, the room was fine for sleeping and showering. However, the small things add up to be a big thing. Not the home away from home that I was hoping for, I cannot recommend this particular hotel to other weary business travelers.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the restaurant where the food for dinner and breakfast were very good.
