Hotel is in serious need of update.
Lobby/restaurant is fine, but the rooms are really old and the A/C system is on/off type, no automatic control.
Wi-Fi was REALLY slow!

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I understand they have been remodeling for quite some time now. Perhaps they should speed up the remodel. The lobby had signs regarding the remodel and there was a bit of construction going on. Check In was nice and efficient. I was a little surprised that I wasn't offered any kind of bottled water being that I'm an IHG member (all of the other Holiday Inn hotels I've stayed at made that offer). When I arrived at my room, I could not close the door because the door was warped. Had to slam the door to get it to close. I'm sure that the people in the adjoining rooms weren't pleased. While the room itself was clean, the air vents were filthy. I don't think they were ever cleaned since day 1. There was only 1 available electrical outlet in the living area. In this day and age, people use cell phones, computers, gaming devices, etc. Take your choice on the 1 device to charge. The bed wasn't very comfortable, so the quality of my sleep was not very good. Had dinner the first night of my stay and breakfast the first morning. Can't say that the food was very good, but the wait staff was friendly.
Overall, not the best stay.

I would stay here anytime in Wichita.need more handicap parking spaces.Did not know the restaurant and bar were attached until checking out.
