Our stay of 7 nights was a good experience. Clean room and friendly attentive staff. We felt that we were secure and if anything were to be needed then the staff were there to help.

Our stay overall was good, but we’re a little disappointed that we were not recognized as a valued IHG member and not offered a room selection. We were put right in front of the elevators which noisy at best! Maybe we should have been offered a room further from the elevators. It’s listed in my IHG profile.

IHG brand standards are not completely followed. I was refused breakfast vouchers even though I am a Platinum member.

**Positives:** The staff was friendly, and the beds were clean and comfortable.
**Negatives:** The ceiling was covered in stains and missing pieces of textured paint, which suggested possible water damage, smoke damage, or simply neglect. The bathroom mirror was broken and literally falling off the wall. The shower dripped throughout the night, and despite my attempts to tighten it, I couldn’t stop the leak. Additionally, the carpets were filthy, forcing me to wear my sneakers.
**Summary:** I was quite surprised to find a Holiday Inn property in such an undesirable condition. I would not recommend this location and will not stay there again.

Overall, good place to stay, I stay here for the convenience to UCF. As an out of state parent to a freshman in college, I have made several trips to Orlando and chose to stay at the Holiday Inn, UCF each time.

i used my loyalty points to stay in this hotel so that i wont be late for the cruise on the next day. And only to find out it is a nightmare. you do not want to stay here on any weekends at the rooms facing Alafaya Trail, it's impossible to go to sleep simply because of the loud noises outside. the hotel mgmt staff （if there really are any）, are very unfriendly and impatient, they are not trying to help you out when you genuinely need them.

Please note: this is the 2nd open review as the same guest (XIU) is posting under several different names. As we responded before, the same response holds steadfast as is noted below:
In response to your concerns filed with IHG, as well as on media, we noticed that you failed to mention that we did in fact relocate your room at your request. However, your wife and child stayed in the original room, therefore causing a charge to be assessed to your bill for multiple room use. In hotels, should a room move be requested, it is normal practice that all occupants relocate to the new room. In addition, the room we relocated you to was 2 rooms away and on the same side of the building as your original room, yet no noise was heard from there?
If you read the profile of the hotel correctly, we are a city property, located close to colleges and businesses, on a main artery. We are not a resort with minimal traffic flow. Therefore, traffic 24 hours a day will be a factor in this area.
We apologize for not being up to the standards as defined by you, but our hotel is well reputed and revisited by many a return guest due to the level of service we provide and take pride in. No further compensation will be offered and should any points or fines to our establishment be imposed by IHG, we will refute them as well. No points will be returned or offered as you utilized 2 rooms that evening. We even extended a reduced rate for the second room by 50% in reduced price on a sold-out weekend, and the final bill was placed under your room door prior to departure that morning.
