Thank you for the candid feedback, Ronnie G! We are pleased that, despite all of the changes due to COVID, the Holiday Inn is still your favorite hotel in Saratoga Springs. We can't wait for things to return to normal, as well! The renovations were seemingly slapped on, the room was not at all clean, the front desk gave me a key to to a top with an open door and someone inside, towels were shredded. Bed was relatively comfortable and housekeeping was incredibly kind and efficient in returning my son’s stuffed animal that was left behind.

Thank you so much for sharing feedback. We are very, very pleased that you were pleased with our housekeeping team and that we were able to return the stuffed animal that was left in your room. We are unsure what you mean when you state that the renovations were "slapped on"...We are sorry you feel that way! We are also terribly sorry that you felt as though the hotel was not clean as we use only hospital grade cleaners and adhere to IHG's very stringent 5S cleaning program. This hotel is routinely graded as among the cleanest in the entire Holiday Inn brand. We are appreciative of the constructive criticism in regards to your towels and will indeed discard the ones that were in your room. We very much hope that you will find accommodations that you find satisfactory when next you visit the Saratoga area!

Our stay was super. The room was great and the bed was the best one I’ve used in any hotel. The manager, Kevin, and his staff were friendly and professional. The hotel is within walking distance of the downtown shops and Congress park is right behind the hotel. Great location! Will definitely stay there in the future.

My wife and I had a very relaxing weekend up in Saratoga springs. The hotel was very clean and accommodating, and reasonably priced! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to experience..... I highly recommend this location!

We picked this hotel in Saratoga Springs so that we could go back and forth to Lake George and also see Saratoga Springs.
The room was nice and comfortable. However, there was no maid service from the day we arrived and since we stayed for 2 nights I expected someone to clean up and provide new fresh towels. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

In an effort to limit contact with our guests (for the health and safety of all), we are not currently cleaning occupied rooms on a daily basis. This should have been communicated to at check in; we are very sorry if it was not! We do, however, provide daily cleaning service upon request and we service rooms regularly for those guests who stay 4 or more nights. Was forwarded to a reservations bureau/agency that had no idea what hotel I was calling about and spoke poor English. The third call back was when I was able to have my reservation taken by the front desk. Other than the reservation there were no other issues-the staff was extremely helpful at all times.

The area is beautiful, lots to see. The hotel allows dogs, so I had a dog room. The carpet could have looked a little better, but I could tell it was clean because my dogs did not sniff it. (I rated cleanliness a 4 based on how it looked). Has an Indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. Black wash cloths for make-up removal. 2 full-length mirrors in room. Clean, really comfortable beds; choices of firm or soft pillows. Some rooms have a desk w/ chair and a soft chair with little table, others have no desk but have two soft chairs with little table. Room was quiet. Staff was accommodating. Several sitting areas in lobby, plus a glassed in room.

The first room we were sent to wasn't up to my expectation, so we were placed in a much larger suite. I truly appreciated that. Upon Check out, however, they delivered a bill under my door for the price of a suite! I almost had a heart attack! When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, she seemed a bit huffy about it. Not a nice way to start a day. So there was the good and the bad.

While I'm very pleased that we found you (eventually!) suitable accommodations and that we resolved the issue with the rate, I am extremely sorry (and embarrassed!) that you were charged the incorrect rate to begin with. Furthermore, there is absolutely no reason for any of our team members to be anything other than cordial when resolving errors (particularly ones we made ourselves). Please trust that I will address this with our team. I can assure you that your experience was an aberration and is certainly not the norm at this hotel. I very sincerely hope that you will choose to stay with us during future visits to the Saratoga area.

This hotel is not clean, do not book a stay there. The staff does not care about cleanliness or sanitizing on an ongoing basis. I was booked to stay for a week and I left after 3 days because I just could not take the filth any longer.

We are incredibly sorry that you feel the way that you do. As our many reviews indicate, the hotel takes great pride in ensuring that the hotel is consistently clean and that everything is sanitized appropriately. While we have always had a strong culture of clean, it is even stronger due to the recent situation that the country finds itself in. Your assertion that the hotel staff "does not care about cleanliness or sanitizing" is demonstrably untrue and anyone setting foot inside the hotel will immediately recognize that.
